IKEA offers new gaming in collaboration with Asus Rog

According to IKEA, around 2.5 billion people worldwide play video games worldwide. For the Swedish furnishing house, it was therefore a logical step to assume this target group. Already in 2019, we reported on the attempt to bring IKEAS a gaming collection to market. The promised equipment never came.

Announced in the spring of 2021, it is finally here that the gaming equipment for your home in collaboration with Asus Rog. Since October you can buy the six new series Huvudspelare, Utespelare, Matchspel, Gruppspel, Upppel, and Lånespelare at IKEA and successfully go successfully. High performance, perfect ergonomics and an elegant look promises IKEA with its equipment.

With the help of ROG, the product designers at IKEA received an insight into the everyday life of Gamern and their needs. This resulted in a completely new line of furniture, storage solutions and accessories. Among them are ergonomic chairs, height-adjustable tables, a rolling table or a ring light with smartphone bracket. The design of the new series is oriented with the cooperation with Rog strongly at the Taiwanese manufacturer. Thus IKEA would like to address a wide mass of gamers.

There are many millions of gamers in the world, but there is no homogeneous group, explains Sofia Wikssson, product developer at IKEA. The differences are great, because the game enthusiasm extends over different cultures, ages, educational levels and income situations.

To use each gamer s heart, 31 different products are offered in German trade. We want to make it possible to adapt the game station to every taste and individual needs, no matter where you come, if you live alone or with someone , it says on the IKEA product page of an accessory holder in the form of a hand made of wood . With accessories for under 10 € to height-adjustable tables for 500 € IKEA tries to offer something for every purse.
